Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum information needed to run this website and respond to inquiries:

• Contact form submissions. When you submit a quote request or contact form, we collect the fields you provide (typically name, email, phone, organization, and the message).
• Anonymous performance metrics. If you opt in, we record standard Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS, FCP, TTFB) along with the page path, a device category (mobile/desktop), connection type, and a truncated user-agent string. We do not store cookies, IP addresses, or account identifiers alongside these metrics.
• Account data (admins only). If you sign in to the internal content management area, we store your email and role assignment.

We do not sell personal information and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.

We use anonymous performance measurements to find and fix slow pages. Collection is off by default until you accept it on the consent banner that appears on your first visit.

• Opt-in. No performance data is sent from your browser until you click Accept on the banner.
• Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a DNT or GPC signal, we automatically treat that as an opt-out and never load the reporter.
• Change your mind anytime. Use the Analytics toggle in the site footer to switch collection on or off at any point.

bylyngo.com does not set third-party advertising cookies. We use a small amount of browser localStorage to remember your analytics consent choice and to keep you signed in if you use the admin area.

• Respond to quote requests and contact inquiries.
• Diagnose site performance and fix broken pages using aggregated metrics.
• Operate the internal content management system.

We do not use your information to profile you or to target ads.

We share information only with the service providers required to operate the site and respond to you — for example, the hosting platform and the backend database that stores contact submissions and anonymous metrics. These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Bylyngo or others.

Contact submissions are retained while active for follow-up and are periodically archived. Anonymous performance metrics are kept in aggregate for trend analysis. You can request deletion of any contact data you submitted by emailing us at info@bylyngo.com.

• Opt out of analytics using the footer toggle or by enabling Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control in your browser.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of information you provided by contacting us at the address below.
• Unsubscribe from any operational email by replying to it or contacting us directly.

We rely on our hosting and database providers for platform-level controls, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on the admin area. No system is perfectly secure — if you believe you've discovered a vulnerability, please email info@bylyngo.com so we can investigate.

bylyngo.com is intended for adults contacting a professional language services provider. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage or by direct notice.
