Dispatch when video won't do

Built for this exact situation.
Certified ASL interpreters
Nationally certified or state-screened interpreters matched to the setting — medical, legal, educational, or public-facing.
Video that actually works
Framing, lighting, and bandwidth guidance so signing is legible; runs in a browser on tablets, carts, and laptops.
Scheduled and on-demand
Pre-book for meetings, IEPs, and depositions, or connect on demand for walk-ins and unplanned appointments.
Deaf-interpreter teaming
Certified Deaf Interpreters paired with hearing interpreters for high-stakes or atypical language use.
Honest guidance on modality
We will tell you when video is a poor fit — surgery, group settings, severe vision loss — and send an on-site interpreter instead.
Captioning alternatives
CART and live captioning options when a consumer prefers text over signed interpretation.
Three steps.
- 01
Tell us the setting
Appointment type, duration, participants, and whether consumers have a modality preference.
- 02
We match the interpreter
Certification level and specialization matched to the setting, with teaming for long assignments.
- 03
Connect or arrive
Video link ahead of time, or an on-site interpreter confirmed with name and credentials.
The details that decide the outcome.
ADA effective communication
Public entities and public accommodations must provide qualified interpreters when needed. Video counts only when the connection, framing, and interpreter quality are sufficient.
When VRI is not appropriate
Anesthesia, positioning that hides the screen, multi-party discussion, and consumers with limited vision or atypical language all call for an on-site interpreter.
Teaming on long assignments
Assignments over roughly an hour are teamed by two interpreters to protect accuracy and prevent injury.
Consumer preference
Ask the Deaf or hard-of-hearing consumer what works for them. Their preference carries real weight both legally and practically.
Questions we get asked
Are your ASL interpreters certified?
Yes — we use nationally certified (RID) or state-screened interpreters, matched to the setting, with Certified Deaf Interpreter teaming available.
Is VRI enough to meet the ADA?
It can be, when the video connection is clear, the interpreter is qualified, and the setting suits video. When it does not, we dispatch an interpreter on site.
Can you cover unplanned walk-ins?
Yes. On-demand ASL video connects without a booking; on-site coverage is dispatched based on availability in your area.
Do you offer live captioning?
Yes — CART and live captioning are available when a consumer prefers text to signed interpreting.
